Just took a look at my Gas Cards and noticed they expire in January. I have three of them. As far as I understand from the activation page, you can only use them on $25 worth of stuff? Like I can't use two of them on a $50 charge?

Has anyone tried used them stacked? Also, it says you can't use them online. Has anyone tried this? I can't see why it would be any different.

You can use more than one card at a time almost anywhere, and you don't need to spend the complete card total in one go. I used them for my grocery shopping. If you only use a portion of a card, you must know how much is remaining on the card (going on line will tell you). Write the amount left on the back of the card with a Sharpie. Next time you go to use it, if your total purchase exceeds the amount left on the card, hand the card to the cashier first and tell them how much is left on it. Then pay with you next method of payment.

If it's deducting your points than it's playing the game. The error sounds like it's on your end. If you win you receive an email. So it's more likely you just haven't won.

make sure the baby shows up before pressing ok when you answer the skill testing question. that happened to me a couple times. basically wait for the script to load.

I'm not so sure. What if we'd won the $500 cash instead? Then bought diapers? How's that different? The stipend was not based on ability to pay but on need. If it were ability to pay, we wouldn't have qualified in the first place. Its taken the wind out of my winnings. Should have sold the coupons, pocketed the money, and it wouldn't have effected the stipend.

I'm now looking at not taking the stipend as a donation.

Yea I think the giftcards are the most sought after because you know instantly if you win and we have had some great success between fellow RFDers. You can enter the weekly sweeps too, we have had a few people report wins from that also.

I had trouble getting on last night, but no trouble at all this morning. I think alot of people may have been all trying to access the site at the same time. So you might wait and try at an off-hour, early morning or later in the evening.

It wasn't in the rules when you play the game, it is only on the email afterwards printed as "one per household" - my friend won 2 and told me that.

I don't think the prize can be substituted as they are running by two different promotion companies.

it's just a prepaid mastercard - you can use it wherever you want - but you can't use it on a purchase that is more than $25 or it'll be rejected - you have to either pay the difference first by another method (cash, debit etc) THEN pay the $25 remaining with the card - or you can do what I do, which is buy a $25 gift card for the store of your choice, then use the gift card to go towards your purchase.

Seems unlikely that you would be able to use them online if the purchase exceeds $25. I don't know many websites that allow you to use more than 1 credit card for a single purchase. The only place I have done that is on Dell's website.

Try all uppercase. I know with me my password was in all lowercase but when they made the changes to their site somehow my password got changed to all uppercase. I would never put my password in all uppercase so I know it was their site that did that. Hope that helps.

You have to make sure the cashier passed the card with "$10" payment. If cashier punches in any amount over $10, it won't be accepted.

I believe she did that... she would treat it like a prepaid credit card?... maybe I was supposed to activate it, (I threw away the letter that arrived with it).

Just to add the company I work for is currently not acceptting pre paid credit card because
they are having too much trouble collecting from the other end. We probably process
200 to 800 credit cards a day.

No, I never have problem.

Just make sure the cashier punch in exact $10 or it will be refused.

I usually use it in Supermarket. If you have a Loblaws with self check out near you, you can pay cash until $10 in the balance then choose pay by credit card to swipe the whole amount (no fuss from cashier).

You need as little as 1pt to enter any of the contests...

To actually redeem for something, the minimum is 25 for a music download. (However, those are quite easy to win - I'd recommend entering to win one because I'd bet you'd win one before you spent 25 pts!). To redeem for anything else is at least 200 pts.
