I am looking at a price range of 500-700 dollars. What is the best deal out there? Im going to be using it for music, internet and photoshop. Ill be using
Windows 7.
are either of these good deals? any suggestions?

The gateway is refurbished, and is still $550...very much over priced for a duo core (not 2), non LED and heavy (6.28 pounds). The only good thing this one has is the 4GB ram, which is DDR2. I can't figure why it's $550 used, maybe someone can help me out.

Still not a Core 2, but an LED.
I guess for photoshop you would need it to be LED? I don't know myself.

wait till windows 7 is released, then there will be some good deals with the laptops pre-installed with windows 7

More importantly, if you get a laptop that comes with Windows 7 you know that it is supported driver and tech support wise.

Unfortunately i'm way too impatient to wait for a final release of Windows 7. I cant imagine having any problems with hardware compatibility anyways.
