Hey everyone,

Just wanted to know if anyone has dealt with this dealership? They've apparently been around for a decade now but haven't heard much reviews on them.

They currently have a couple A4s that I'm considering.

Checked their profile on BBB website, they had 1 complaint regarding warranty which was resolved. They don't have a UCDA logo which I found odd.

Any experiences?

Thanks,
Mike

Hmmm... I bought a CTS from them a couple of years back. It had some scratches and the gear indicator on the gear changer was not showing the gear. They promised to fix that when I pick up the car.
A few days later, the scratches were fixed, but the gear LEDs were not lighting properly. I took it like that and came back a couple more times for this problem. They removed the pan from the gearbox and changed the gear sensor in there, but it looks like that was not the problem and there was still no light coming out the LEDs.
When I showed that to the older guy there, he said "that's it, we cannot do more". Since the problem is minor and the car runs great otherwise, I did nothing else, but for sure will not go back there.

That's sort of what I fear, not being able to get support if something is wrong with the car. I guess I may just go with a certified used Audi with warranty remaining from one of the actual dealerships, even though I may pay a few grand more.

Well if there are a couple things wrong with the car that you can see, you can sign the contract on the condition that they fix those problems. If they do not fix by the time you pick it up, you can get your full deposit back.

Yeah I have visted that place before. I did not buy from them cause I found a great deal on lease busters, but they were really nice once I had chance to talk to them, there was like 5 or 6 different customers on the lot ( i went on a saturday around 3pm), but they have 3 sales staff 1 old guy and 2 younger guys. They did have the Car Proof reports on both cars I liked and they were both clean cars. The lot is organized and overall the cars looked in good shape. Its not a shady place. They only had German cars and a little Japanese, like 65-80 cars max. I did not see one domestic car on there lot. There was no problem for a test drive once you get the sales guy to help you. I did see a big UCDA symbol on there front door and they had a car proof report symbol right beside it.

that's what i did and have no regrets. just make sure you read some Audi boards to find out which Audi dealership to go to, and to avoid.

i know a member on RFD is a Audi Mississauga employee, and i have read nothing but horror stories about Owasco.

What year you looking? and what car are you coming from? I love my A4!

Well I actually visited City South a week and change ago. Was helped by one of the younger guys (the son of the owner.) Took an A4 for a test drive. Most of the cars, especially the Audis, are US vehicles. Not that I really mind, but you just never know, even with carproof reports.

snapper: I'm looking mainly at 06-08s, 6spd, in either black or white. Seems the whites are extremely hard to find (with canadian vins, that is.) Will be coming from a 98 Talon TSI AWD. Turbo + AWD is all I care to drive now, but need 4 door, so an a4 fits the bill perfectly. :)

i just bought an 06 6 spd A4 from Queensway Audi about 2 months ago, Canadian car and low mileage to boot. but enough about me :o

an interesting note about US car. when i was at the dealership talking to the business mgr about my loan, i noticed a sexy RS4 parked outside. i made a comment to the business mgr about how sexy that car is. and he said the car is at the dealership more than he is. the RS4 owner bought it from the US, and it's been nothing but trouble for him. so beware when you buy a US Car, and what Audi Canada will or will not cover from a warranty and maintenance stand point. Also, with the dials. My speedo is only in km/h, not sure if the US cars are in mph only

That's exactly what I'm talking about. An RS4 at that too? Damn.

The US vehicle I drove had MPH primarily with KPH on the inner circle of the speedometer.

How did you find your experience with Queensway? I've actually been in contact with Denny from the used car department. I almost bought his wife's off lease A4 a year or so ago. It was loaded with everything! Just wasn't the right decision for me at the time.

I see myself purchasing it from them, unless Mississauga Audi gets something worth considering.

bottomline is buyer beware if you're going to buy a US car to save some money up front.

i worked with Roxy, a chinese fellow, at Queensway for my purchase. He was a good guy, didn't come off as a typical sleazy used car sales person. He did not pressure me for the sale. He also appeared to have helped me get the price I want with the manager (not sure if it's true, or if it's a tactic)

good luck dude. The A4 is SICK!!!!

I see a lot of used car lots that operate out of a trailer. Something about that just doesn't inspire confidence. I think they also buy from US auctions which is a red flag in and of itself.
