I have a leased vehicle (2007 corolla) which is at the end of term soon. I have scratches on the front and back bumpers which i believe could be a problem. Can someone please tell me what is the best place to get it fixed... I went to the toyota dealership and they said it would cost $250 to fix the front alone (i did not notice the back one at that time)... and then at Maaco, the mechanic said they can paint half the bumper for approx $100... which I didnt even know was possible as how can they have such a perfect blend of colours to avoid mismatch... so anyhow, please tell me how much i am looking at in repairing this issue...

So you"ve got two quotes - both from people who looked at the car and the problem and you expect someone here to give you better advice? Hmmm ....
Go to another shop and get a third quote (you should always get three independent quotes) and then you"ll have a good sense of the cost.

They can't. There is no way it is going to match. Maaco is known to be a shady place...

$250 from the dealership doesn't sound that bad considering my mechanic is charging me $200 to just to spray my bumper.

Thanks for the message. I also didnt like what i heard at Maaco. Can someone please suggest a good auto body shop... someone more reputable and honest and would do it for less than dealership...

thanks

Bullock City charged me $400 to paint and refinish my Lexus RX350 bumper. $250 quote from dealer for your Corolla bumper doesn't sound bad at all.

If you go to the dealer to get it done, then there shouldn't be any concern on your part for color not matching the rest of the car because they're the ones guaranteeing the work.

You'll have to post your location, but $250 is about right for 1 bumper.

Also try the car detailers/ paintless dent removal places as they are cheaper

I am in Toronto (high park area), but can go anywhere in GTA. And about that dealer quote, that was a rough estimate given to me by their sales guy as when i went in they had closed and he did it as a 'favour' to me by giving his opinion. Sorry, i think i may have misrepresented that aspect. I just phoned the toyota dealership, and their service guy quotes about roughly $300 per bumper. And to be frank, i am not even sure if the front bumper needs a paint job as i think it could really get by with buff and polishing...

Anyhow, any good auto body shop...?
