View Full Version : Any Driving Ranges in North York??

Hi,

I'm in the Yonge/Sheppard area, and I've been looking for a driving range to smack a few balls around here, but I can't find any ranges close by! Does any one know where the closest driving ranges are around here? I need some options...

The only ones I know are:
Richmond Hill Golf Club (Bathurst/Hwy 7)
Scarbro Golf Dome (On Milner)
Beach Fairway Golf Range (Victoria Park/Danforth)
Scarborough Family Golf Centre (Markham/Steeles)

All these are quite far away... Anyone know of any with 5-10 mins driving from here?

I think I saw one at Sheppard/Bathurst but not sure if that's what you are looking for.

When I lived in beautiful Downsview (while attending York), it seems to me I recall going to one that was up Keele and then to the left. Sort of ramshackle, but it did the job!

Here is a great resource for all your golfing needs:

The last one has a map of practice facilities. The Launch at 400/Steeles might be the closest one for you, but being just off the 401, you should be able to get to a few of these fairly easily.

Being an RFDer what about pricing?

What can I expect to pay for a bucket of balls or is it by the hour? Any promotions out there?

The 407 and woodbine location a.k.a. 400 and steeles location - used to be called the golf dome...now i think it is called Launch.

Regular Bucket (60 Balls) - $13 (including tax)
Jumbo Bucket (100 Balls) - $16 (including tax)
