How should I answer these questions?

I finally got a reply from a retail clerk position I applied to:

Thank you for your resume. Three things
1) How much longer are you in school(years) and 2) will you be able to work Saturdays throughout the year.3) Are you free (completely free) to work Aug 24 to Sept 5?

Now I have 4 more years in school (3 years of study + 1 year of internship, not mandatory, but I want to do PEY). I also just want this job for make some cash over the summer, i'm not sure I can work Saturdays once school starts again (it depends on the work load, and I'm sure it wont be easy). The third one i have no problem with, it's just the first two questions that are tricky to answer. Should I say 3 years or 4 years left in school and should i say yes to working Saturdays throughout the year or tell the truth? I REALLY need a job right now, even though it's not related to my field of study, just because I'm broke as hell right now.

However, the job description says that the job will continue on Saturdays throughout the year. If I answer no to 2, they probably wont hire me right?

Well, is this a weekend job only? Seems like they will make you work a few times during the week and Saturday. I bet hours will be more flexible after you work for a few months.

During the summer the it'll be around 25 hours/week (a few days a week), and full time on some weeks, and just Saturdays when school starts. Well the problem is that I don't know if I can balance school and work, how should I know how much work I'll have to do?

That's not bad. Just Saturdays when school starts. Should be able to handle it.

If it is 25hr/hour week of part time during school + Saturday = that's too much.

I bet they will hire people throughout the year. Once your rank goes up, then you're schedule will be more flexible.

Its different for everyone. I guess you will only know once you've done some school. I'm going into my last year of uni and have worked full-time throughout my last 3 years and know people that don't work at all and some that work part time. Its how well you can manage your time, how many other commitments you have and if your willing to sacrifice going out with friends every night. If I were to give you an answer based on my opinion it would be 1.4years 2.Yes. If you really need the job, take it for now and quit if it become to much to manage.

you're over analyzing this.

first, say 3 years.
second, say yes.

first one isn't a big deal. they just wanna know how old you are and at what point you are in your career. 3, 4, doesnt make a difference here.

the saturdays. no big deal. it's the summer. school's off. you can work saturdays. once school starts, see how it is... see if you can handle it. if you cant, let them know. you wouldve been with em for a while now by then, so things can be worked out. this won't be a big issue. but if you say no now, you might not get the job.

1. 3 or 4 years doesn't make a big difference, in my opinion. If the internship is not guaranteed then say 3 years. It is a long time ahead and things can change.
2. Say yes to Saturdays, since you need a job as I understood. When September comes and classes begin, you'll have an idea of whether you can handle the school/work load or not.
