I was thinking of buying some of these boxes from SDM, but I'm wondering what value I'm getting. Even if I sync it with a 20X event...How much better a deal am I getting?

Our local dollar store variety stop-shop, got in a bunch of fireworks, and they seem to be larger boxes, and cheaper.

Where's the best place to buy Fireworks? I remember in Ottawa, there was always this Full Tractor Trailer which would set-up shop outside Fairlawn Plaza FULL to the brim with Fireworks...I bet those kinds are usually cheaper than a retail priced set from SDM no?

how do we find out where/when can we light fireworks in/around Ottawa? Wanted to buy some last time, but didn't know where to go.

I usually go to these fireworks retailers where you can pick out individual ones you like. I find the packages usually have 2-3 good ones and the rest are mostly cheap roman candles and sparklers variable. It may not be as cheap as a package, in terms of dollar value vs quantity, but I get everything I like.

I don't know what's available in Ottawa, but I went this place called Kaboom! in Mississauga last year, close to where I live. They had some decent selection there.

I don't know about Ottawa bylaws, but in Toronto you're only supposed to shoot them from your own private property (eg backyard).

I see a lot of people firing them from empty parks and schoolyards though. It's not really legal, but... yeah.
