I thought you said Cows at first, I was going to say I don't know anybody who hates cows.

But Crows are dirty birds, they dig through garbage and carcasses, we are hardwired to stay away from things that may carry disease.

some ppl actually want to use crows to pick up garbage (or coins), so that they can carry and dump it into these automated waste baskets that would spew out food for the crows whenever they do so. when/if this happens..who knows.

crows, a symbol of death and/or deep-rooted superstition.

Rooks, which are part of the Crow family, and very smart birds.

Wish we had them over here.

I'd train one to be a soldier in my drug dealing business.

I think in the old days crows are associated with war and death because they are scavengers that eat the corpses. (Like the intro. movie from Diablo) :o

i have over 5000 crows in the field behind my house every winter.
ever have 5k crows fly over your house?

they keep their distance now, since i harass them every day with my fake shotgun.
as soon as i walk out with it. they scatter.

banging the metal shed , ie. gun shots works too.

but they do get into my garbage.
they're really annoying.

Mythology, association with death, being the color black, not cute and those evil friggin eyes.

I wouldn't say people hate them. They rarely get in your way of life. It's more like fear and superstition.

How did the phrase "I'll eat crow" arise? (generally used when you make a fake wager/bet on something)
