We are building a deck in our backyard and I'd like to add some solar powered fence post lights for on top of the posts. Any ideas where I can find ones that work really well but that won't break the bank? Thanks!

I know these arent what you are looking for but I thought I would mention it anyway.

They are really easy to put in and look great. They dont give off a ton of light but we have to sets of eight on a 16ft x 16ft deck and its fantastic.

Thanks, but I'm specifically looking for the type that can sit on the deck posts. Anybody have any suggestions??

Home Depot has nice aluminum ones that I used last year for my fence. They fit on 4x4 posts. As I mentioned, they are aluminum frame so you don't have to worry about breaking them. They have 2 LEDs with a low or high brightness switch. We have had them for close to a year now with no problems. I believe we paid $20 each last year, but I saw them in the flyer last week for $40.

price club has a really nice set, they are currently on order at my london location they just dropped the price 10 to 49.99 for a 4 pack of solar post lights nice quality and you can install them on top of a post or even on a flat part of a fence dual install.

get em while they last!!

I'm not sure where you can get them but I wanted the look of them but didn't want to spend the $$ on them. What I did was get the decorative caps for 4x4 posts and drill holes in them. Then I took cheap but nice looking solar lights that were meant to be staked in the ground and glued them to the decorative caps. I didn't put the stake in them so they aren't that tall, just the light rests on the wood.
