I'd like to book a one week all inclusive down south. I'm VERY flexible on when to go in July or August.
I'd prefer a 4+ resort.
When will I get the best price??

I've usually done it about 2 weeks before, or whenever you feel the price is 'right'.

Keep in mind that sometimes, the prices may actually go up the closer you get to your date ..

Always check tripadvisor for reviews to get a general idea or the place but don't take them too seriously as some people just b*tch and complain left and right.

Price might go up or down as you get closer to the trip. If you know hotel that you want to visit (lets say based on Tripadvisor.com), then check hotel prices and follow them every day.
Remember - July August will be hot months in the Carribean. Some locations have breeze on the beach all the time (Dominican Republic, Puerto Plata), and some will be very hot and humid... Know what is important for you.

If you do not know hotel - try to visit sunwing.ca website on Wednesdays and check their "Wild Wednesdays" deal. You might get a decent deal.

I got a dea to Domnican leaving Aug 3rd for family of 4 we paid 2900$. That was one day deal. Next day price was 3400$. Current price for the same week is 3900$. Same hotel, other weeks still can cost 3300$. Cheapest week will be last week of AUgust or 1-2nd week of September when kids are back to school.
