Appreciate any help that comes my way.
so basically im with primus and everyday for 2 or 3 months, there is constantly downtime with the internet. Im using the THOMSON ST516 they supplied me.
The modem basically disconnects and then reconnects, the period inbetween can last from few seconds to 10 min. And the frequency of these "hang-ups" is anywhere from every 10 min to every half-hour throughout the day. I constantly have to unplug/plug the modem, in hopes that it will get the internet light blinking again (works about half the time).
The only period of the day when I experience lower (not zero) frequency of hangups is late evening.
Ive called primus tech support and they say that although they see my modem disconnecting constantly, their end (the line) is smooth. They suggest either it's my router or faulty modem.
Does anyone have the same experience?
