I input your specs in Lenovo's current sale and it comes to a total of $966.88 after taxes, and it includes a privacy filter as well :D

I checked again on the lenovo's website, and even at this time its price before taxes and before CAEAUGDEALS discount its $1219.00.

I am posting its screenshot to justify my point. I dont know how you recieved $1009 before taxes and before discount.

HOwever, I really need to sell it at this time and considering the private filter I can lower my price to $925. Please let me know if you would like.

There is a reason I bought 14'' laptop (t500 is 15''). I m sure there are lots of other people like me who thinks 15'' is too big to carry. :)

Personally, I'd get the higher T400 model with discrete graphics (ATI GPU) and superior T9600 CPU...all for less than $80 more...brand new, even if shipping does take a few weeks.

This T400 that descent1 is selling is the base model.
