If the condo fees cover water, AC and heating - how much approx would the hydro cost for a 2 bedroom apartment being used by a family of two people ? just wondering what hydro cost i am looking at if i carefully consume electricity for a 2 bed room home with windows in all rooms ?

Depends on the province you're in.

In Ontario, the cost should be about $50/month

We're a family of 4 in a 1700 sq ft house and our monthly cost is about $30 (without air conditioning on).

It depends - is your place sub-metered? If so, in my condo building for example, it is pretty standard to pay about $20/mth for submetering, then you buy the electricity on top. So, for example, my bill last month was $32...of which I used $8 of actual electricity. The rest was the comapny charging their fee, Ontario Hydro retiring their debt, the gov't taking its share, etc.

Should be tiny...my latest utility bill was $28, and that's including water/sewer, and a small amount of A/C usage.

About $25 per month on average for me, and that's including heating costs (which I only have on for Nov-Feb at most). I'm in Vancouver. Maybe $20-22 in the other months, $27-32 with the heat on.

I'm in a 1,000 sq ft 2-bedroom condo.
