Hi all,
We had to remove the Walmart anniversary flyers because of legal issues.
If you get them legitimately in the mail (ie delivered to your house), they can be posted, but if not, please understand that they have a very aggressive legal team.
Cheers,
Ryan

lol. I warned everyone in that thread to post the flyers quickly and save the info before the "authorities" puts a gag order. (Big lesson I learned from last year :D)
Remember...Boxing Day Flyer Sales....Post quickly, view and save. :D

1.They don't want the competitors to get hold of these sales well in advance so that they correspondingly have similar items on sale & steal their thunder .
They don't want to give them enough time to plan their strategy .
2. If you know WM is having so and so items on sale a couple of weeks from now & if you were planning to buy these same items today ,now you will wait till that week comes by instead of shopping now , thereby reducing their current traffic in stores .
Lot of these items won't be PMed at other stores bcoz they will be limited qty , special sales , door crasher's etc .

It's called 'trade secrets' and is nothing new, protecting your sale prices from competitors until it's too late for them to offer a lower price is a valid and competitive practice. There's a reason they choose which day to release their sale info...and a reason why almost all flyers come out on the same day.

Great examples of the importance of trade secrets.

+ 1 .
They usually have lot of crappy items on sale and if you don't get them on the first day you might as well forget it as they don't bother restocking their shelves .
So either go there on the first day or don't bother at all as you won't get most of the items during the following days of the flyer & next to nothing will be replenished .
After the first day of the sale the WM store becomes a junk yard ( it is like a junkyard on most days anyways :D ) with stuff scatered all across the store , most of the packages/boxes opened & missing stuff etc , unhelpful staff who don't know much & who can't find the sale stuff themselves on the shelves & won't help you to find it either  .
The standard line is if its not here we don't have , its sold out ( lot of times they do have it just sitting in the Warehouse but not on the shelf ) . The staff won't bother checking in the computer or in the warehouse .
If I am free , I might go on the first day but in case I can't make it I won't bother going there on any other day based on my previous experience with this anniversary sale @ diff WM stores .

Couldnt have said it better myself unless you are looking for cheap toothpaste dont even bother going after the first day. And believe me there is nothing on their that i am going to line up for at 6am to get i will sleep in and spend the extra 10 dollars to get the item somewhere else where i wont wait in line for 20 minutes to pay

Why are the mods still deleting the Walmart Anniversary threads? Can we not discuss these deals? I got the flyer last night along with probably half the country....not sure why all the secrecy still.

the quebec version of the flyer is out on the walmart website, but I think it's slightly different from the other provinces.

Nope, I had a look and it's identical to the one I have.
I don't really need to send pics, just look on the website.

Looks like it is indeed out, so the thread has been restored.
