Get quotes from a bunch of regular insurance places.

I've used BCAA in the past.

I'm having trouble getting some. Seems that most insurance companies don't do 'just tenant insurance'. They seem to turn me away because of that..
it's kind of frustrating ..

Well there's a shocker! I thought they dealt with Cars exclusively... calling them for tenant insurance seems a little strange, but I'll give it a shot ..

I practice thread-necromancy!

Has anyone found any good insurers for tenant's insurance? I need some, but need a deal too. Gotta insure my deals from Dell days  .

Anyone have experience with different brokers?

Just a funny FYI. My rental house (currently in) has cost me $32/month for 65K contents. Im moving to my OWN house next week...and my insurance quote for the HOUSE (structure-145k, contents-97k, liability-1M) was $31/month. Couldn't believe it, asked him why..he told me about how the claims for tennats are about 40 times higher than claims for ownership.
A gazillion times the insurance for 12 bucks a year less because I own the sucker.

is this for a rental apt. or a basements suite. if it is the latter, then most homeowner insurance can and will cover it.
