hmmm...does proceeds in this case refer to the entire revenue portion ($1) or just the profit portion ($1-cost). Although it only makes sense that it's the profit portion. I wish they would just say how much from each cookie goes to the charity, so that we know.

The price of their regular "gourmet" (not quite gourmet) cookies is already quite high (compared to their old cookie prices).

it says the entire proceedings from sales(on their site), so i think its all of it.

Nice coincidence. I went into Tim Horton's for the first time in ages today and asked for a chocolate chip cookie. Apparently they didn't have any - but these are chocolate chip, so I had one, and they're pretty darn delicious. Now that I know it's for a good cause, I won't feel bad having another :)

A few years back, they used to make the smile cookies using these HUGE chocolate cookies. Too bad they don't make those anymore :(

Still good nonetheless.

No, but what I'm saying is that proceeds by definition can mean "revenue" (i.e. $1) or "profit" (i.e. $1 - cost). The fact that it is entire, doesn't automatically imply it's $1, it could also just mean the entire "profit".

Proceeds usually implies what's left after deducting the cost. If they were donating it all, they would say all sales go to charity.

C'mon, this is Tim Hortons. You really think they would eat (pun, haha) the cost of these?

Today, I went to Tim Horton's to purchase my morning coffee along with a smile cookie, while driving to work, I put my cookie next to my hot coffee and the smile melted right off. Now it's just a regular cookie. FML.
