This is an awesome deal, i saw a few LE at the Best Buy in Woodbridge few days ago, the tag said $69.99.

I already have Assassin's Creed so i didn't bother picking it up or even asking how much it really is, but at this price i might head over tomorrow morning and pick it up (if they have any left).

seems like a price error... i've never seen CE games go for that cheap at FS/BB

did it scan at that price? or was it shelf-tagged ?

if it scans higher but the game itself had a markered tag at $5, might be an indication of a store-specific clearance

I was pretty surprised and amused at the same time.

I grabbed it at Gamestop for $19.99 then. Used it for T3G1F. Just the game, manual and sleeve in black DVD case so I kept all the extra stuff for when I get AC back for cheap which I did.

You are lucky. The game title on the TSCC website is wrong. The game is the regular version, not the Limited Edition. The description, picture, UPC and Mfr part number listed are for the regular version.

I guess you encounter the wrong sales clerk. Some sales clerk allows it without checking the competitor website. You always go with female sales clerk because they have better chance of giving you PM if you smile a lot.

I guess it depends on if you like the game. My son loves the game, so it is a keeper for us. I picked this up for his birthday. Since we already had the regular version, we will now have to trade in that version. Hopefully the TIV will still be over $10 when we go (in a month or so).

Since the date of the receipt shows Sept 21, 2009 it looks like they scanned it as a pre-order and not the full price of the actual product. I remember BB and FS would do that to upcoming games/movies and the scanned code would come up as $5 or $10.
