We hired a Nanny 3 years ago through an agency but we did not sponsor her so we had to pay a fee. This time we are sponsoring the person from Hong Kon (orig. from Philipines) so we will not have to pay but there is some paperwork involved it will probably take her 6 months to get here(give or take)
any questions? just ask!

I'd be curious to know if anyone has an agency they would recommend - or an agency they certainly would not recommend? Please PM if you'd prefer not to post publically.

Both agencies are good - Wee Care - http://www.weecareplacement.ca/
and Trust Caregivers: http://www.trustcaregivers.com/screening.php
