hey guys,

Halloween is just around the corner and I would like to take a moment to discuss you what your favourite horror-themed movies are.

Here are my personal favourites:

Maximum Overdrive
Ghost in the Machine
Wheels of Terror (the TV movie)
Spawn
Tormented (recently discovered it - this film is from the UK)

Those are my favourite movies that features "horror". There were two movies that I was trying to find for ages. It describes as followed:

There was at least two films that I had watched during my life time.

the first movie featured a girl screaming at an Amish-like person in a mirror (or someone/something feasible). She then thwart that Amish-like person off with hitting with some object (in this case - ice skates) and them the mirror began to crack and shatter (or whatever feasible). Me and my older sister used to watch that movie when we were little. I couldn't remember what the name of the movie was, but I had a photographic memory of it. Me and my older sister back then watched it when we were little. A friend of my sister usually bring this movie to watch at our place back then. This particular film dated sometime between the early to mid to the late 1980s.

The second film feature one particular scene - when a kid screamed, the man started to feel a "pain" in his stomach (or whatever feasible it was)....I knew the scene, but I couldn't make out what the name of that movie is....by the way, that movie was dated sometime between the early to mid 1990s....and to a lesser extent well toward the late 1990s.

Can anyone identify what the names of those movies are? I've been dying for ages to see what those names of the movies are! Thanks.

Anyways, what are your favourite horror themed movies?

Some favorites of mine are:

Trilogy Of Terror (especially the story with the doll)
The Shining
The Devil's Backbone
Session 9

The movies you're asking about sound familiar but I can't think of any names at the moment. You might try the IMDB I need to know board. There's also a movie board called Joblo, you could ask on the message boards there; there are a lot of movie buffs there.
