Does anyone know which stores sell small helium tank(s) that can be used to inflate 50-100 balloons? Preferably South West Toronto stores.

Party Packagers for one, and other party shops. Look in your local Yellow Pages.

You can rent a helium tank. You can't just "buy" a helium tank, there's regulations in place for that.

Umm, yes you can. Wal-Mart sells a package/bundle that includes a small tank and balloons, and I remember Sam's club used to sell something similar.

Thanks,
I'll try Walmart.
Tried a couple of local party stores and Costco, none of them have it right now.

I did find one place in Yellow Pages that rents, but they need an ID. I'm not sure I want to give out my private info to get a helium tank. Even if I pay cash. What's so special about helium that stores wouldn't sell it and just rent it? Is it the tank being too expensive?

The big tanks costs a lot of $, the info is probably in case you don't return it so they know who to track down.
