Not a bad price for this Gears clone, I just picked up my copy today. It could be YMMV because Bestbuy still had it for $40. Also qualifies at EB if you beat it quickly enough before the TIV plummets like all the others do. Also has online co-op!

EDIT: It was brand new, sealed and I picked up a 360 copy but it could very well be for the PS3 as well!

Any link? I've been waiting for the price for this one to drop, but FS online still shows it as $45:

Also, PS3 or 360?

I believe this is the used price, as I was just in a FS over the weekend, and saw it for $20 in the trade in section.

Sorry for leaving out a few details. I don't own a PS3 yet so I didn't check the PS3 section, it could be the same for all I know. Also it was brand new, sealed. It would be your best bet to check in store.

I rented this game and beat it in 2 days. It is a very short game, better off renting it instead. Not sure it has any replay value either, but definitely worth renting.

Saw this for just under $19 ($18.86 or whatever it was) at RCSS Westhills Calgary yesterday also.

Sweet, I have to hit RCSS on the way home anyways so will check it out there.

Not bad, never shopped there before but shipping is only $2.99 so that's not bad. If I can't find it at RCSS or FS, will pick it up there.

At any rate, all signs point to this game finally dropping in price.

It's DEFINITELY $18.99 at RCSS in Metrotown as well. PS3 ONLY. I am a bit pissed since I waited, waited and finally bought it about 2-3 weeks ago for about $40. It's a lot of fun and is about as long as most shooters today (8 hours?). I don't listen to rap/hip-hop or whatever it is, but that music works well in a game like this and it actually catchy. I guess the guy must be one of the better artists in that genre. Certainly worth $20.

Confirmed, I just picked it up for $18.98 at Superstore in the West End in Edmonton. It was in a 'specials' rack, not in the regular game wall.

Other deals they had (most of these I think have been on sale for at least this low at one point or another, just thought I would post anyway in case you were looking)

PS3:
Oblivion GOTY $18.98
Stranglehold $18.98
Sonic $14.98
Lost $18.98
Call of Duty 3 $18.98

Xbox 360:
Command and Conquer Red Alert: $9.98
Facebreaker $9.98
Pirates of the Caribbean $9.98

PSP:
God of War $14.98 (not a bad price, I think it's usually $20 everywhere)

This should be in every PS3 owner's collection.
And you can add Tiger Woods 09 (PS3) to that list as well for $18.xx at Loblaws/RCSS (a friend got it for $9.99 at Rogers new though...YMMV there I think)

I wouldn't pay more than the title for any of that guy's crap. And even then I'd have to think about it...

it's $20 as GHs title. $15 is warmish at best considering the many $10 deals recently (HMV for e.g.)

It has to be nationwide. I just saw it for that same price (19.99) at the downtown toronto FS

I was just @ FS and it had to be for Xbox 360. there weren't any copies left for the 360 but they did for PS3 and that was 54.99 new and 45.99 used. Also to the OP, I noticed that the used games were either re-sealed or re-sealed and in a security case, could that be what you mean by "Brand new sealed"? Good find though, as I went to the closet to me and Im not bothering driving further to another one. I'll make this a rental!

Correction..Im looking at the website and it says 19.99 but its not marked down in the store and the CSR is unaware of this! Im going back tomorrow or next week!

*snip* I don't listen to rap/hip-hop or whatever it is, but that music works well in a game like this and it actually catchy. I guess the guy must be one of the better artists in that genre. Certainly worth $20.
I've gotta comment too...he's actually one of the most epic fails of the genre, along with Lil Wayne and most other pos "rappers" that you hear on the radio who, in general, bring insult to hip-hop.

I haven't listened as intensely as I used to, but back circa 1993-2002, KRS-One, Common, The Roots, Talib Kweli, and Mos Def...those were good examples of "better artists" in the genre...Lupe Fiasco is also one current artist who would qualify as a "better artist" of the genre who has achieved a certain amount of commercial success (nowhere near 50 cent levels though) combined with critical acclaim :) if you have a chance to check out their music around those years and Lupe Fiasco's stuff, your ears will thank you for it. Positive messages and awesome instrumentals.
Cheers

None of them have video games though so...lol, although KRS-One had a comic book briefly, and you can now see Mos Def and Common in movies...I think Common was in the Terminator: Salvation....which, isn't really saying much lol

although all those artists are good, albeit all a bit old-school east-coast and mid-west cept for lupe, i doubt a videogame company will ever make a videogame for a rapper who isn't as mainstream as 50 cent.. well they did give ice-t a videogame with Sanity b4 on PC haha

False. Well, sort of. They do give talented hip-hop artists video-games sometimes:

Bought both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions last night for $19.99 and flipped them and third game at the trade-in counter for $23 each since they bungled their T3G1F promo (they didn't know how it worked).

Oh well - I mostly listen to classical and jazz with some odd pop/jpop thrown in on occasion. I can't comment on lyrics but the music part sounded a cut above the usual for that genre. But what do I know about that genre? Nothing :). It does go well with the action, though.
