Saw this ad in 24 hours (Vancouver), end Oct 31.
For High Speed Internet.

For which service are you talking about? (ex. Home Phone, Internet)
Or is it everything (Internet, Home Phone and Cable) for $20?

Yes which service. I am currently with Telus, and their internet is not that great. I still need a 30 day cancellation time in advance, but depending on a good shaw promo i've been waiting for, was the whole reason I did not signed any Telus contract.

ok, found the deal:

Shaw High speed - first 2 months free, next 6 months 20$
Shaw Phone Basic - first 2 months free, next 6 months 20$ (only 1$ difference than the regular phone basic of 21$ when bundled, however you do get the 2 months free, instead of 1)

Was hoping to see the Classic cable deal at 20$ too for 6 months they usually offer.

Thanks, I just signed up for the student deal a couple of weeks ago but haven't got around to giving them my ID yet; will try to get them to switch me to this.

I called and they said they didn't know of any such offers and that I would have to provide proof of this. Maybe it's not a Victoria offer?

Could be... Do Victoria has 24h? Go to 24h website and search the online edition and look for the offer on the 13th Oct edition

only cable deal i know is digit cable..
Digit basic --first month free and 6 months 19.95 + 2 rental.
Digit classic--first month free and 30-40 i cant remember for 6 months+2 rental

and if you really want to save money use it for 6 month for the internet and cable tv and cancel. Then sign up again using some1 else name in your family, so you can get the same deal .

Not for phone because you'll lose your telephone number.

Saw same deal and I called into telus to cancel because my contract just expired

but then realize I'd have to spend an extra $60 on a router (because telus provides you with a modem/router 2-in-1 thing) so there goes the 2 months for free

and then telus offered me $20 for extreme high speed for life with no contract so I said okay.

sorry there is no link for this offer...I'm 100% sure they have this offer. You can call in and tell them you received a flyer or card in the mail.

Yeah not sure exactly which one it is but its 8 Mbps. I don't really like Telus because I get disconnected from time to time, they said they'll send a technician out, we'll see how that goes. If Shaw had the same price for life I'd switch in a heartbeat.

I prefer shaw as well,but for shaw exterme internet our bill just went to $65 a month with taxes.
I see Telus now offers Speeds of 10.0 - 15.0 Mbps with their High Speed Turbo package,I called and inquired about it and can get it with phone service (caller-id and 4cents a min LD) for $59.95 a month..tempted but still a little hesitant to switch.

I saw it on the flyer...its like a postcard. someone i know have gotten this deal.....

I received Digital Phone Basic for 9.95 for the first 3 months and then 20.95 after.
And then High Speed Internet for 9.95 for the first year and then it goes to 35.00 after that. Got this deal just yesterday. Their promo rates seem to be slightly different offers when you actually get them on the phone.
And they dont have Classic cable listed on the website but when I asked the rep their Classic cable deal was 14.95 for the first 3 months.

Shaw's site is a nightmare. That said, does anyone know what is the minimum tv package required in order to get the HDBasic 200-209? I have an HD box.

I called twice this morning but put on hold for a looooooooooong time, finally giving up and coming here.
