For the first 350 requests and for offers between October 1st and November 2nd, 2009 you can get a $500 bonus certifcate from Nissan Canada. Get it from an obscure website http://mynissanoffers.ca/ and not from the Nissan Canada website.

Take certificate to dealer and get $500 off the purchase, lease or finance price. Nissan Canada will reimburse dealer the $500.

Right now Nissan Canada is also offering $2500 in incentives to clear the 2009 Sentras.

Thanks OP for this, we used one of these printouts today to get an extra $500 off on a new Nissan Versa Hatchback today. They were already offering $2000 off for cash purchase, so we were pretty pleased to get an extra $500. The dealer had never seen one of these certificates before but they did accept it.

The dealers I've spoken to either never heard of this or say it is $500 or free winter tires. Any pointers on what I need to do?

My dealer didn't know either but honoured it after they took a good look at it. The certificate was printed with the dealer's name on it. Got a total of $3250 off the MSRP of a Sentra ($2500 Nissan cash incentive, $500 certificate and $250 from dealer).

Dealers haven't heard of this since it is only good for 350 certificates. You can point them to the website or ask them to check with Nissan Canada.

Negotiate your purchase price first before you present the certificate. Otherwise, if they know you got an extra $500 off, they'll think they have more room to play with and not give you much off the MSRP. They will be reimbursed by Nissan Canada when they send it in, so it shouldn't influence how much profit they want for the car.

The dealers offering winter tires instead of $500 are looking to make more profit off you since they are selling the tires at retail which they bought at wholesale. They will be reimbursed by Nissan Canada for the full $500. That's fine, if you're getting $500 worth of tires and the tires are what you really want.
