If you knew anything about fashion, you'd know trends != style.
Style = fit, perhaps the fit is particularly well on him. E.g maybe the red brings out his eyes, and the location of the heart emphasizes his broad shoulders, yada, yada, etc, etc.

They're about $100 here. They are much cheaper in japan... along with the rest of the CDG stuff.

Or maybe it is a white tee-shirt the only distinguishing feature of which is a logo that was cool three years ago?
This is a fashion forum, if you post that you are going to buy stuff that is "played out" people will tell you.
EDIT: I think you could get $80 for a NWT one pretty easily...

You can get them for like $50-60 in Japan... pretty easily. Just go to the store.
