Everyone should give this game a try. Even just the demo off of steam. It's a really great game. It's from the makers of Diablo and the gameplay is based off of Diablo.
I bought it and finished downloading it about an hour ago. Played for only about 30 minutes. So far so good, the gameplay is solid and I love the look and feel of the game.
The game's only $20 and you can get it off steam or buy it right on their website.

I thought this was going to be a full priced game (eg 59.99/49.99), but at $20 i'll pick it up for sure. Hows the online?

They said the same about Hellgate London.

I dunno...I think Titan Quest might be a more polished (and played) game?
19.99 USD off Direct2Drive for both Titan Quest and its expansion...
Might want to wait a bit before jumping on this game would be my guess...

Pretty decent game. Saw review on Giant Bomb.

I looked at it, and really the thing about Diablo that kept me interested was the online play. Diablo II I never even played in single player mode.
Hellgate: London wasn't really that bad. I actually kinda liked it, but again, once the online shut down, I had no reason to continue playing it.
I'm gunna pass on this one.

I picked this up after playing the demo for an hour or so.
I never played Diablo or Diablo 2.. I did play Hellgate London, Hellgate was a pretty good game, too bad it flopped..
My first game of this style was Sacred 2.
It's true, not having co-op is dropping the ball but I'll still play this game because it's the first PC game in a long time that I didn't want to stop playing..

Anymore RFDers check out the game? How are you guys liking it so far?
I'm really like the game, but I can't really play it too much. I'm about 2-3 hours into the game.

I have it right now, level 23ish Alchemist.
It's definitely pretty fun and addictive, the only missing component is an "identify all" toon in town (like Deckard Cain -- spelling) and multiplayer. I heard they were adding the multiplayer component on later though.
Anyways, here's a video I made about 20 mins ago (from this post) -- so no HD for a short short bit. Just a boss battle.

Wow! I'm impressed how well the engine is optimized!
I installed the demo yesterday on;
Pentium-M 1.7
1.25gb
Radeon 9000 Mobility
XP SP3
Runs pretty damn well at 1024x768 resolution. For a 2009 game to run my my aging laptop is pretty impressive!
I'll probably buy it tonight. -sg

Looking forward to trying it. Trine was a cheap little game and it was prob my favorite single player game of 2009.

Wow, i thought it had multi-player LAN already. Hmmm... hopefully just a patch and they don't charge for a new version.
Really digging the cartoony graphics.
but would it release within one year of development?
