Highland Farms has kasha, or toasted buckwheat grains.
Bulk Barn may have unroasted grains; they definitely have buckwheat flour.

ed; Just realized there is no Highland Farms in Ottawa, but you can look for kasha in stores with Jewish or East European sections.

Any supermarket in the grain section...may also see as Kasha.

If not, any health food store.

It's actually pretty hard to find good quality buckwheat. Maybe in some Eastern European stores, I dunno.

Bob's Red Mill also has buckwheat and is found in many stores.

Every Healthfood store that has a bulk section should have it as well (i.e. Red Carrot).

Big Carrot, I buy it there all the time and make it into my own cereal.
