I just had my home painted by Pashook Interiors and have to recommend them. They were honest, and did an amazing job. The colors we chose were dark colors (sundried tomato, marsh brown, etc) as we get alot of sun and the results looks beautiful. They took 4 days to complete the job.
My home is a 1800 sq ft bungalow in North Oakville, Ontario. All the rooms done (except bathrooms, ceilings and trim) were done. My initial quotes were:
University painters $3,800
Benjamin moore painter $2,500
Pashook <$1,600
I provided the paint....bought it from Sherwin & Williams during their 40% off sale.
They even did some extra work...looking at their card they do other work, drywall, wall paper, etc.
I'm not affliated with them just really happy. Actaully, my wife is estatic.
If anyone is looking to have their home painted give them a shout.
Tell them Tony (Bungalow) from Oakville referred you.

To my supprise the amount paid was consideribly less than $1,600.
Able to buy a large LCD TV with the saving.
All the best.

That IS an amazing deal. We paid for my paint, also bought at Sherwin William, however paid more than $6000 for paiting. Can't say I was happy with the people that painted our house. Got to the point where we were just estactic to see them go. Took them near one month and they don't do extras cause everything was extra cost if they had to do it...like filling in nail holes, caulking, prior to painting, etc. These were supposed to be part of their contact too. So I'll definitely take note of your contact as we have my brother's house to renovate. Thanks for the info!

Do you have any pictures of their work?

will post pics soon...
FYI, furniture will be coming in soon, I hope...all custom ordered.
Guys filled in nail holes, caulk crown and floor moldings...they even painted our baseboards.
They had to redo a wall because the drywall patch was to obvious from the previous owner. They patched it, sanded it at no extra cost.

Now that's customer service. Imagine all the painters out there that charge 5 times this and still wouldn't do any of it!

Was waiting for them to finish the job before I gave my feedback and I would agree with the previous posts about Steve. He is a good guy who did a great job at a very good price. Would recommend him to anybody who needs a painter. He does a lot of the extra's that some painters don't.

Wow - might give these guys a call... I have to get the main floor and the upstairs done of my semi (about 1200 sq ft) - problem is, the bulk of the job is all trim work (priming the wood, then painting) - as well as many of the walls.
I got a quote for 12,500 (pffft), and I'm waiting to hear back on another quote. I was expecting to pay about 6 or 7K, including the paint...
My main concern is quality of the job, as so much of it is the trim work.

+1 for Steve. I just had him and his brother to come in and paint my front foyer/entrance. He did a great job, and as prior posters mention, he did a lot of extras (dapping, filling out nail holes, etc) and his price was very reasonable.

+1 for Steve.
I just had some work done by Steve and his crew. Had front door, ceiling, hallways, stair railings, kitchen, dining, and living room painted. Price was fair and very reasonable.
Will be calling him back to redo one of my basement walls and fix part of the ceiling damaged by water.

how many rooms did they paint? did they paint 2 coats? i know sherman williams sells a paint + primer all in one, is that the ones they used?
did they paint the celing too? is your ceiling stucko or smooth?
did they remove the light switches and outlets and paint or did they simply tape over them and paint around them? this is also important too cus some painters will cheap out and just tape around something and paint it, when you decide to change light fixures later, you have this big ass annoying spot missing paint.
I had a painter that offered a $1500 paint job, but he was gonnna use one coat of this cheap crap paint, he would not remove light switches and faceplates, only paint around them and he even spilled paint on my couch. he left my baseboards and mouldings cus if u want them it cosst more. he didnt paint inside the closet doors, cus he said no one checks them. you basically get what u paid for

$400 a day? No professional contractor would work for that low amount, so I must question your endorsement. I would need to see the results and even then, everything looks better in photo's. I really have my doubts that the work was of professional quality.
