My mom spends hundreds of dollars a month on prescription medication each month for my dads health and recently she heard that there were places that would cover the 10% (her insurance only cover 90% of medication), meaning she won't have to pay anything.
She usually goes to Price Chopper and the pharmacist said he knew which places they were but he wasn't allowed to tell her. Does anyone know which stores around the GTA do that for you?

Your mom could ask her family doctor.

You could also phone around to social support agencies who cater to people on low incomes. They should know where such pharmacies exist.

Also make sure that you're getting the generic versions of drugs where they exist. They're usually substantially less expensive than name brands and are just as effective.

Suggest you goto the local drug store, not the chain wide such as SDM or Pharma Plus etc. talk to the owner, they may help you if you are a regular customer and they want your business with insurance.
