You should check out mco.org. Then organize lapping days and other events where you can go have some fun with your car.

Calabogie. Fantastic place. You can go as fast as your brain will let you and, you can test the limits of your skill and your vehicle. What fun!!

Damn that is far. They should make one closer to the GTA; I'm sure all the street racers would vent off more often.

Looks like Spa/Nordschliefe nestled in the woods like that.

Dunnville got shut down...unless you're saying they're back up and running again...

Oh did they? News to me lol. I just included all that I knew of in Ontario. I know for sure that Mosport, Shannonville, and Cayuga are open though.

I love how cops promote the fact that racers should take cars to the track, and yet there aren't any in close proximity or cheap to run at.

Dunville getting shut down is a real shame.

Just be careful on the track. You have to sign a waiver that pretty much says you are 100% responsible for anything that happens. And insurance will not cover any damages that happen unless of course your policy covers the car for the track.

So you may want to make sure you have good life left on the brakes - perhaps put in new brake fluid and make sure you have plenty of tread left since you'll have to drive back 1 1/2 to 2 hours back home unless you have a friend coming along with his truck/van with spare rims/tires, bolts, extra parts, etc.

Though it is approaching near the time they close the tracks so hurry up before winter comes :)

Many companies will void your insurance if they find out you are bringing your vehicle on the track. So before you go, talk to your insurance and ask them about their policy. At least that way you will know what you're getting in to.

just my opinion but that is ridiculously expensive for an open lapping event. I haven't been to that track though, maybe they charge more than others or they raised the price because it is getting close to the end of the season..but $250, wow.

I think the cost is based on how many people they think will come out. The more people, the cheaper.

Also, don't forget that Mosport has a lot of barriers that will cost $$$ if you run off the road vs. Shannonville

OP, Go here for info on other open track days:

Some would say even asking about it will raise red flags.
