A good deal for Ford Escape XLT 4WD 2.5 L with Canadian winter packag and sync ?

Was at the Erinwood Ford where they have a sale on all Escape XLT 4WD with Canadian winter package ($1,100) and sync ($500) for $28,727.00 OTR. COSTCO member would bring this to $27,727 OTR.

Considering Ford.ca has a MSRP of $28,599 (including $2500 delivery allowance), seems to be a decent deal. The same in the US would cost ~ $26,000 US ($1000 above invoice).

Any help/insight is much appreciated.

Seems reasonable. How was the new 2.5 in the escape? Enough power?

The dealer was trying to push for a V6 3.0L ... In fact, the 2.5L4 with the 6 speed seems doing a decent job. No hesitation at all.
