I was using Dlink pocket router in client mode for our xbox 360 as a wireless adapter. After unplugging it when we went away and taking it on a trip to use in router mode, the client mode wasn't working when I plugged it back in to the xbox so I tried to hard reset to factory condition. It didn't work to reset, (lan light wouldn't flash to indicate it was working) so I think at that point I tried to upload the firmware which happened to be the same version, 2.0, as before. At that point, I thought the unit had started again but apparently had not because I believe I disconnected the unit before it had finished, or, maybe it had frozen/bricked at that point for whatever reason. Hard resetting does not work, but when I have power unplugged, insert paper clip into reset button, and then plug the power cord in, the LAN light will start to flash, but when I go to the main setup page on Firefox (or IE) I get the message on the webpage that I need to upload firmware, and no administrative options such as usual dlink settings pages. Upon trying to upload the fw, the unit's LAN light stops flashing and then it's dead again.

Surprisingly, AP mode and Router mode still work.

My questions are:

Is there a way to manually flash the device to install the FW? Or is it bricked?

Is there a way to use the AP mode somehow with the xbox 360 to enable wireless connection? Currently I have our laptop set up as a bridge, which is working, but I don't want the laptop to be on all the time when gaming.

Thanks for any help you guys can offer. :)

Also - any ideas on where to buy an inexpensive xbox 360 adapter? Or where to buy the dlink pocket router again? I see Tiger Direct has it but I was hoping for a little less money.
