Cineplex Holiday Gift Pack (2009) available via eservus but the price is higher than it has been in the past and what is listed by Triever. Plus, IMO, the coupons are weak this year.

I agree. The "Admit One" vouchers expire after March 2010? That's insane. This gives someone an average of 3 months to redeem them after Christmas. In the past, the vouchers were valid for at least a year or two. This is a cold, cold deal to me.

The Admit One vouchers are valid for 2 years. It's the other coupons to Chapters/Zellers/etc. that expire after a few months.

In the original post by christov, the expiry date is listed as March 31, 2010. It is only the redemption through Air Miles (as posted by tidus) which has the October 31, 2011 expiry date.

its a decent price for the tickets, but this year the Cineplex pack doesn't have free birthday admission which kind of sucks, but still a fairly good deal for Cineplex movie tickets, Empire pack seems to be a better deal but there aren't any near me.

Hey Guys,

Depending on what province you live in, CAA has competitive prices for these packs. In Saskatchewan, the holiday pack was $33 GST included.

Also, if you wait until after xmas, Zellers/The Bay usually has these on for a 10% discount.

Cheers!

Yeah, that's really not a good deal with such short time limit. I still have a few left from the Cineplex holiday pack stocks two years ago and those are expiring March 2010. On a side note, if anyone in Kanata or likes going to AMC Kanata, Holy Trinity High School has a fundraiser selling "Admit One" at $8 with no expiry date.

I bought them last year at CAA in Ontario (Hamilton) and that was about the price I paid. I have not yet checked to see if they have them again this year but will update if I find out.

$32 is the cost price from Cineplex corporate for each holiday pack (a little bit less or a little bit more than $32 depending on how many packs ordered).

Prices will go up with the HST tax. That's why we bought 10 packs for ourselves. Tickets are good for over two years.

I bought a child cineplex package today at Costco for 9.99. I'm not sure if that is a good deal because I don't know how much child admission is.
Combo is for 1 child admission and 1 kids combo. (popcorn, drink, candy)
Looks kinda small though.

Last year I got one from HBC. They sent me an email and I bought about 10 packs for $32 each. I cant seem to find a similar deal with HBC this year. Anyone know if HBC is selling these packages?

The kids combo is good enough for my 5 year old daughter but not my 9 year old son. Depending on your theatre price you are getting the food for free.

The Empire deal suck if you're born in January as you have to use some of the free $30 coupons (including BOGO) before Jan 31, 2010 AS WELL AS your birthday ticket that month.

January is probably the worst month for new releases AND if you're born in this month, to get the best of the deal, you must go to the movies more often.

I was going to but this but since I am born in January, FORGET IT!

One of the benefits of a July birthday! I'm sure I can find 3-4 movies to see - just have to hope they aren't pass restricted

I think you guys are forgetting that the Empire deal is FREE when you buy $30 worth of gift cards. So when you go to the movies with your girlfriend, buy a gift card. Then immediately use it for admission, snacks, etc. You're gonna spend the money anyway, if you can't use the coupons give them to someone who can.

Yeesh.

There is an Empire Theatre right around the corner of my work.

You can go to Cineplex or Empire to get the coupons.

It's quite simple - spend $30 on gift cards and they give you the coupon pack for free. So look at the first post, decide which coupons you think are more useful for YOU, and then go buy gift cards.

its like buying a SDM GC before you buy stuff at SDM - to get the optimum points on the GC and then again on the purchase.
Here you get the coupons for buying GC first, then you get to use the coupons afterwards

I believe this is dead now.... Happy New Year and make sure to use all the coupons before they expire!

Anyone see any of the Cineplex packs with passes on clearance (like at HBC in the past...) ?
