picked up at my local staples:

Guinness Book of Records Video Game (Wii) $9.99
Nerf N-Strike (software only) (Wii) 9.99

Although they are not the "mainstream" title, both are solid 4 player titles.

They also had Excitebots (software only) for $34.96 and various other titles. I can also confirm seeing GT Smash Hits for 39.99 as well.

That's pretty hot, wonder if any other Staples have these on Clearance.

Went to 2 locations: one in Burnaby(Kingsway and McKay), one in Vancouver (Broadway, btwn Hemlock & Birch). Neither one had Bionic Commando at $19.99. The Kingsway location had both platform at $39.99. Was in a hurry & did not see any at the Broadway location.

Did see the Asus EEE PC 1000HE(blue) for $377.xx at the the Kingsway location. ALMOST pulled the trigger. Very tempted.

It might be off topic. If I remember correctly on current week's flyers, the PS3 Classic games are two for $40.

Good luck hunting everyone.

I checked a few stores in the Mississauga area and nothing is on sale, same as they were before.

I checked the North York location in Toronto and they don't even carry any of the PS3 Greatest Hits titles.

I checked the North York location in Toronto and they don't even carry any of the PS3 Greatest Hits titles.

I went to two to three Staples and checked their shelves and most of the time, they only have 1 Greatest Hit title. . .

I was thinking of the same thing as appleb, that they only have one greatest hit title on the shelves while they only give you discount if you buy two.

I was talking to a computer guy, who happened to be a gamer as well, told me that because of the PS3 game theft rate is really high, that they actually lock up most of their PS3 games behind the counter without showing them. (not a good marketing scheme, but at least they don't lost anything to the theft, I guess). I managed to find some titles and I bought "Resistance: Fall of Man" and "Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction" for $39.99 + tax.

So I guess you have to check with the sales people there to find out what exactly they have.

Good luck.

There should still be a lot of these around at Staples because of their anti-theft policy on PS3 games.

*sigh* Would've loved to take advantage of this. Some really good deals. I heard of someone finding EA Grand Slam Tennis for $17, the very game I've been tracking for a price drop.

I saw it yesterday at the Queen & Airport Rd. store in Brampton for $29. Unfortunately, I already own it and paid $50 for it.

The $19.99 rack at Staples in Steinbach, MB is full, but the selection is garbage. I think it will be full for a while.
