PS3 - Metal Gear Solid 4 (Limited or Regular)

Hey guys

I just got a PS3 recently and is looking into buying MGS4 as I liked the MGS series from before.

I can still manage to find a limited edition for 44.95 now or I can choose to buy a regular at HMV (Which I have seen at lowest) for 24.99

So my question is... would the limited edition be worth it? Or should I just buy regular?

the limited edition was going for $19 at wal-mart.....some people reported it went up in price.

As for the regular edition....its $19 at the source....nearly every source I have been to has a copy.

Sigh I guess I have missed it.

None of my local Walmart, Zellers and even future shop carry the regular edition.

I was quite surprise to see the limited edition at future shop because I can't even find it anywhere locally.

Surprise to hear you said every Source you went to has it. Just did a 200 km search in GTA and I am pretty sure the top 25 store didn't have it.

If you look hard enough, you could find a regular copy in the garbage. Don't get me wrong, its a good game, but ABSOLUTLY NO replayability. the TIV of it is less than 8 dollars. They WAY overproduced it, I got sucked into the hype, what a waste of money. It can be had for 10 dollars used at eb games im sure.

i have a limited edition MGS4 still sealed.. picked it up from rogers clearance.. decided that i didnt need it...

if u want it for cost + a couple bucks.. u can have it...

so $25 bucks and its urs... meet up in markham / richmond hill tho :)

as for the guy above... the tiv is ABOVE 8 still i believe... and no u cant get it for $10 used lol..

Not too sure where you got your info, but I traded mine in for t3g1 2 days ago at EB, therefore over $8 TIV. Also, it is NOT $10 used anywhere, especially EB. It is $24.99+. The best deal on a used copy right now is likely Rogers Video where it is $24.99 - 30%.

If you're a truly a fan then you'll get the Limited, if you just like to play the game then Regular edition would b the deal breaker for you.

Actually I was able to do a TIV @ EB last week for MGS4 I think it's at least 8 dollars

I still have a sealed copy that I plan to get to eventually ..but i still need to finish MGS1-3

Some people got lucky and PM'd the LE for like $6-7 when EB had their summer doorcrasher for $10

I'd say go for the regular...
