Just a quick question, I'm on a Fido cellphone plan
Someone called my phone from the States (Skype) and I talked for over 2 hours...my bill was just as normal -- there are no charges for this??

You should forget about how people call you... They can call you by using landline, cellphone, skype, VOIP, etc... You don't care....
When your cell phone receive the call then it will cost your air time... So 2 hours = 120 minutes of air time... If you have unlimited incoming call then it is free otherwise it will count as 120 min of your airtime...
If your phone is a smartphone like an iPhone and able to connect to internet via 3G or Wifi and your phone have Skype application then you can use Skype application to call/receive skype call then it won't cost your cell phone air time.

Why would you get charged Long distance for receiving a call?

That sounds like a skype charge, not really from your mobile carrier. If your buddy is calling a non-skype account (i.e. a landline or mobile) and has no credits, then of course there's an additional charge. Skype itself is only free for skype-skype calls.

You can try to uninstall Blacksn0w and test to see if the problem still occurs...
Blackra1n should not need a restore. Blacksn0w is the unlock it does not need a restore.
The no wifi issues is common, you need to reset your network settings. In my case I just uninstalled Blacksn0w, rebooted, installed again. everything working after that.

Incoming LD is "free" in the sense it only deducts from your minutes, day-time or whatever...if you have E/W free its entirely free.
