I have been seeing this ad for the last couple of months. It has been extended till Mar 1st.

For some $550 a month for 5 years, one can get a 2006 or 2007 323s/325s with app.50k kms, with protection plan for 6 years or 160,000 kms / 24 hour roadside assistance - cars from the dealers ( not from any roadside fly-by-night operator), car proofed and all...

Mercedes offers 1.9% for 24 months only and I havent seen anything from Audi / Infinity this low.

I tried to construct online quotes for top of the line Altima/Accord/Mazda 6s (brand new) and the financing was way over $600! (leasing is not for me). Compared to these, used BMWs with dealer warranty might be a better deal wrt prestige, driving pleasure and (hopefully) not many repairs.

Any comments wrt the negative part of this offer?

Thanks in advance.

The thing you have to wary of, is to avoid having the fair market of your car LESS THAN the outstanding balance on your loan.

This is why savvy buyers will try to keep loan terms to no more than 3 years if they can.
