16 GB Flash card formatting question

I bought a Kingston 16GB Compact Flash card which I had to format it so that windows 7 can recognize it.

After formatting (through the camera) it only shows 8 GB of the card, and reformatting in windows does not help as well, I tried to drop the partition on the card and re-create it but that option is disabled on windows for the card.

If anyone knows any way of formatting the card back to 16GB please help me.

Thanks.

does your camera support up to 16GBs?

you can try using swiss knife to format

I believe this is what I had to do to format a 16GB SDHC. XP natively wouldn't do it.
