Would you buy a house at Kingston and Meadowvale

We have been looking for a house and saw a really nice one at Kingston and Meadowvale.

It's a huge lot of 50' x 211'

We have driven around and the issue we have is that the area has a lot of auto repair, muffler places, etc.

I assume buying in this area would not be a good investment?

Anyone know this area well to comment?

I grew up near there... it really depends. It's Scarborough, and there are bad areas around there. Also some nice areas.

I wouldn't live there... but I have a friend with a beautiful house near there.
