Don't worry, you'll enjoy it. In my opinion burnout is one of the best racers out there
and by btw, burnout's online is amazing

I bought one the day I bought my ps3. After a few days I realized something was up. I checked a profile, and it had a registered credit card in the account. The owner of the credit card was from US. Yet the seller was from Brazil.
I called PSN and they confirmed that these were bought using stolen credit cards, and they were baning consoles when the owner reports the hacked credit card. Because I called in first, my system was safe from the banning. They told me to delete the account and all the games I bought though.

I believe we have about $20 of credit on the account right now (what was left over from your last psn card and the money I added to the account). If we went for all three it would be 12.42 each.

yeah so basically you make a new account with any california address. then when u select funding option and put in ur psn card #. (altho i think the psn card have to be american too)... but you can buy them online.however this method is kind of diffuclt unless u have a trusted source.

basically its better just to make a canadian account and put alberta address and pay with your cc.

I think perhaps some of you are inexperienced with how gameshare works completely, i'll try to write up a little guide to make everything as clear as possible.

The problem as of now is as follows:

- PSN only allows 5 different PS3 consoles to activate an account.

- Thus if 5 different users have already created users and logged into PSN on their PS3s for any account (i persume you guys had 5 guys for the past gameshare and they all created users and logged into that psn account), all downloads (past or present) can no longer be accessed by any NEW users (in this case, me and Breionlok)

Solution

- The old users who withdrew from the gameshare can deactivate their consoles while LOGGED into the PSN account in question. Then they will delete the USER account off their harddrive.

- The old users agree to pay for the games obtained in this gameshare and we get a refund. For next month, we use a brand new PSN account for us 5.

Good Rule of Thumb

Everything month create a NEW gameshare psn account, this ensures if any users drop out or new ones come in, we will never face this problem again.


basically the rule of thumb is everytime a member drops out or new members come in the next gameshare should take place under a NEW account. never use the same account because of the 5 console limit issue.

anyway. lets see if the old members are willing to deactivate, otherwise me and brien won't be able to access any of the games.

EDIT: Everything is under control, I can give you guys your refunds, or like I said earlier, I think it would be better that I give you a credit for next months gameshare, to avoid the transfer fees. Delete the users on your PS3's, I'm creating a new account. I pay via PSN cards, if I use an American address, can they tell that we're avoiding tax via cards?

i don't mind getting a credit next month. you should pay by credit card and not psn cards since we might need to switch accounts.. u can't withdraw the money from your wallet (on psn) if u pay with psn cards.

also US account won't work unless you can get US PSN cards.

Yep you are right. Just tried logging in now and it doesn't work. This is pretty ********. I just searched this up on another forum

To reset your password do the following:

1.Log out of the PLAYSTATION® Network.
2.Try to log back in using the "Sign-In" button located underneath the Friends section on the XMB.
3.Scroll down and click, "Forgot your password?"
4.A new screen should open and enter the date of birth you used to sign up for the PLAYSTATION® Network.
5.Once that is complete, you will be prompted to enter the answer to your security question you picked during registration for the PLAYSTATION® Network. This answer is CAPS specific so if your answer is actually "PlayStation" and you enter "playstation" it will not work. Also, make sure that when you enter the answer an extra space is not added to the answer.

After this, you should be able to enter a new password and log back on. Make sure you write down your password this time so you don't have to do it again!

Please give it a go.

changing the email address does not make the account have more activations, nor does it reset any previous activations

if you are already activated on the account then you should be able to download it anyway

otherwise, no one stands to benefit anything from this, so no reason to change the email, please change it back.

Apparently the hacker bought Burn Zombie Burn, Trash Panic and Nova Strike. He also isn't the smartest apple in the basket, and changed the first name to Breionlok and the last name to RFD. Sony is resetting the activations, and we're now looking for another member of the gameshare.

mostly likely is your past gameshare members since you guys didn't change the account name or password. So anyone from the past with the login info can easily login and download all the games. For me and velocity, we both can't download because it reaches >5 activation for that account.
