Is buying from the US an option for you? The 1910 is a much better receiver if that is an option. There are is alot of them going on on clearance in the US now because of the new models comming out. This is the best price I have seen for this model. I have been looking for quite a while.

Electronics Expo offers the Denon AVR-1910 7.1-Channel Home Theater Receiver for $548. Coupon code "LSDA0319C" drops it to $359.88

I think I am going to end up getting the new Onkyo though tx-sr608 its under 500 us and is THX2 certified, and seems like a solid product (although it has not been released yet). I assume as well the Canadian retail stores will start clearing out there stock to make room for the new stock, which might mean better prices... doubt it though most of our retailers are pretty expensive.
