Is there a way to get a Sears discount if ordering 2 major appliances? I don't have a Sears Card, or any type of account... and I have noticed that the coupon codes are gone from the coupon section.

So... any ideas?

this is what we did
went to competitors (futureshop, brick, corbiel, b&m in gatineau, etc) and had them give us quotes as low as they can go (some may be reluctant but get them to write a number on a piece of paper - you can use a bunch of excuses)

then take it to sears and they will price match

ditto the previous poster. Find ads, pricematch. Their policy is usually 110% the difference. Wait for their vip sales too, better financing terms.

I think you mean 10% of the difference.

We found that they wouldn't beat for 10% of the difference but just price matched. We signed up for a Sears card and then waited for the 3X points weekends and bought.

Why would anyone do that? OP wanted a good price, so I offered. Neither did he nor I said anything about employee discount.
