I was actually wondering this since I noticed that Evo's Fish formula is even more expensive than their red meat one.

I bought it to give my dog a bit of a change and he seems to dig it. I heard many dogs don't like fish, is this true?

Also.. I was wondering what the benefits of a mostly fish based diet are. I mean dogs are descended from wolves and they do feed mostly on red meat. I can't really understand why fish consumption would be very crucial.

I don't think fish consumption is crucial. As long as your pet is getting enough complete, quality animal protein then I don't think it matters where it comes from. I think fish is generally healthier than red meat though, some fish have high levels of good fats, and when my last dog had lung cancer and I was researching things that might help him I found that fish based foods have a ph level that is more likely to help prevent and fight cancer, although how much of a difference that would really make I don't know.
