Video editing upgrade, Ram or Processor?

Hello,

I have a Dell XPS One (All-In-One) and I plan to do some HD video editing on it. I know I should just get a new computer but I love this computer too much.

This computer can only be upgraded in three ways. Ram, Hard Drive, and processor and limited at that.

I plan to spend about $100 dollars for the upgrade.

I have a Intel E4500 Dual Core 2 and it can be upgraded to a E6550 Dual Core 2

Or

I have 2gig DDR2 (2 slots full) to 4gb (2 x 2)

Where would I see the improvements the most in the ram or processor upgrade?

Thanks.

Is your video editing application hitting a memory wall and causing your hdd to swap? If not, then a CPU is a much better upgrade
