"best for your money" gaming mouse??

Hi,

I'm thinking of buying a gaming mouse for my brother for christmas but I don't know what's good out there. Any suggestions? Between 30$-60$.
If anyone is selling a BNIB let me know as well as if there are any good deals at the moment?

Thanks!!

Consider the Dell TactX gaming mouse for $49.99 (It is a rebadge of the logitech g9x which gets great reviews). Or the Logitech G500 for $68.67 which is the new logitech G5 mouse. I have the G5 mouse currently and it has lasted me 5 years and still works great. Also you could consider the Coolermaster sentinel advance for $39.60 which I have read good things about.

Razer deathadder is super comfy and great mouse I find. Price matched at ncix for under 50.

I'd sell you the saitek RAT 5 mouse I have but I've used it for 2 days roughly and box is partially damaged.

but if you are looking for a mouse yourself let me know ;)

I have the Logitech MX518 and it's still my all time fav mouse. I find bigger mice more comfortable.
I also have the Dell (Alienware) TactX mouse and its ok, my biggest complaint is that the middle button is too spongy.

I've also gone through various Razer mice and they were all meh.

you could consider some of the older models, which you can get on ebay or kijiji for a lot cheaper.
the Logitech G5 is an awesome mouse for gaming (especially with the adjustable weights). I've had that mouse for over 2+ years now and it's still my go-to mouse for gaming.

i've gone through about 5 different mice (both wired/wireless, laser/optical) in the last couple of years. the G5 is the only that hasn't suffered any problems of wear and tear.

My G5 lasted me 2 years until the cord ripped from rubbing against the edge of my glass desk for so long... wires were exposed and eventually it stopped working.

Of course I could have taped it and covered it... but where's the fun in that? :P

I RMA'd it to logitech and they sent me a brand new G500 mouse.. lol

I'm using a G500, love it. I went from MX500 to MX510 to MX518 to G500. All the same layout but yeah, picked them up when they were on sale for $20-$50.

If you're not too picky about your mice then I suggest getting whatever is on sale.

Like this one!

Looks decent, I guess.

I went from the MX510 for like 4 years until I finally upgraded to a G500 in the last few months. I am not disappointed. I believe I bought it for $60 when it was on sale. Everywhere else was selling it for $90 at the time.
