LOL at the women crying in shock after the video ended. I mean it's a bit harsh and inefficient what's she doing, but is it really worthy of your tears?

It's somebody who took the time out of their day to go watch Dr. Phil being filmed. That tells you all you need to know about the quality of person she is.

Wow. I'm all for disciplining your kids but this is ridiculous. Personally, I think her child should be removed from her custody as she doesn't deserve to be a mother. That poor little kid. Heartbreaking.

Video title has a typo. Should be "Hi, my name is Jessica and I'm a Moron."

Kid's going to remember all this and stick it to her when he's older, bigger, stronger.

I'm traumatized after watching that video. Very disturbing and my heart aches hearing that child crying in the shower...I understand the frustration of raising a somewhat naughty child but giving the child HOT sauce and a cold shower are just plainly wrong...

Yes clearly it should be just one or the other.

Giving your kid hot sauce is mean, but I don't think the cold shower is that big of a deal. It's not gonna hurt the kid permanently. I watched it with the sound off so I don't really know what the moron is yelling at.
My son was 2 and he had a problem with ALWAYS sucking his 2 fingers to the point that the skin on his fingers were practically raw (not to mention all the dirt that was going in his mouth), so we put hot sauce on his hands. Cured the problem for good after 1 day.

He rubbed his eyes when he started crying after tasting the sauce and that made it worse for him. Mind you, this was just some mild Grace brand hot sauce which is more salty then spicy, so its not anything that will burn your skin.

Are you for freaking real? That is child abuse at it lowest form. A child's taste buds at that age (or any age) are not accustom to any type of spicy tastes. That would be very painful.
Same thing for a cold shower. That is something that most people (including adults) can not tolerate. Forcing a child to be under a cold shower is not only abuse, but I would also classify it as torture.
Excuse me while I go hug my child.

i have heard of people using cold showers when they are having difficulty toilet training children. Wish someone would do the same thing to them.

God...I had to stop when the boy started screaming during the cold shower part. Breaks my heart as I am the type to love a nice hot shower and a cold shower will kill me. :(

Anyone have the link to the whole Dr. Phil segment. I'd like to see what people say to her and rip her a new one.
