Need help finding Onyx panels

Hi,

I was wondering if any of you guys know of any places in around our area (even in Ontario). That I can get Onyx veneer? I would like to use it in a back-lit application.
Because the piece would be so thin, I'm skeptical about looking for it overseas.

try a local stone place.. I know the granite shop next door to us used to make counter tops out of the stuff, but it was a thicker material, not a veneer. That stuff is super fragile though, just keep it in mind.
