Is Arctic Silver safe to use on vid card memory?

I'm planning on getting Arctic Silver 5 and doing a reinstallation of my Zalman CNPS7000B Al-Cu cooler and was wondering if the Arctic Silver would be safe to use on the memory chips of my Leadtek 6800 vanilla when attaching an NV Silencer 5. Their website says the thermal compound is not electrically conductive, but may be slightly capacitive.

Would it be ok to use it on the memory chips, or should I just use it on the 6800's core and use the generic thermal compound that comes with the silencer for the memory?

Did that once and never again. I accidentally got some on legs of the old TSOP style ram chips of my radeon 8500. Output became all garbled because of the bad memory. PGA style chips are safer to put AS cause the legs are hidden underneath the chip. However I doubt you will a significant difference in ram temps from AS and generic stuff.

Looks like I'll just play it safe and use the AS on the core and generic paste on the chips.
