The driver is crazy:
. I was driving around 120 km/h and he passed me," Sutherland said in a message. "I was thinking he was high on something."

At least he's in the proper lane.

Are cops not doing anything about this guy? Looks like he's done it several times now. This idiot needs to lose his/her license.

That Chevy doesn't have fold down back seats? That's a big failure on Chevy.
I wonder what the heck he is building?

Lol
If he rolls down the rear windows he can reduce a lot of drag, get better gas mileage, and improve driveability.

Newspaper article says dash cam video, that ain't no dash cam, that's a cell phone. I've never seen a dash cam record video in portrait mode and angle around so much. lol...

The funny thing, is that his load is probably more secured than some of the ones in back of trucks that I see on the freeway. But ya, I would have never thought of doing that.

In both news stories the police say it would be hard to track down without a clear shot of the license plate.

But how hard can it be? Sure they sold well, but the first gen models like this one date back to 1990 to 1994. Therefore, they’re now all between 25 and 29 years old!

>> And in the GTA / Hamilton area?
>> And are burgundy?

What am I missing here that would make this search take longer than a few minutes to narrow it down to a suspect or two???

In the original InsideHalton.com link...did anyone else notice all the sidebar links to other articles of similar foolishness by other drivers?
-The Brampton plywood-incident
-Some lady eating from a bowl with a fork and nearly hitting a police vehicle
-Some guy watching a hockey game while driving
-Some guy booking a flight on a phone while at a busy intersection (or something like that)

Like WTF? There seem to be no shortage of these things going on! And these people just get a fine and then they're on their way  (The Lumina guy from this thread got arrested but that was for the theft/break & enter, not the moronic driving.)
