*ARRIVED* 2012 Titanic Privy Silver Maple Group Buy (43.50/oz Tubes $45.75/GEM)
**If you missed out on the group buy. I have 10 GEMs and 4 Regular coins I would sell from my personal purchase. But I do not want to sell these for <$50.
Alright so since no one was willing to step forward with the group buy for the Titanic Privy maples, I thought I might as well do it
The following are conditions to this group buy:
100% Deposit must be provided before the order <-- Requirement as I just did a Panda Group buy and am pretty much out of cash! [If there is a trust issue, feel free to view my past group buy experiences if that helps]
Minimum 1 tube per order (25oz)
We must reach a minimum of 8 tubes or 200oz.
Expect to pay at most $44 unless premiums are raised etc.
Here's a link to the coins:
http://www.apmex.com/Product/68122/2...nic_Privy.aspx
^Fees to add to the above other than the shipping costs:
$25-$50 Wire Transfer (depending on size of order)
Note: If you are looking for less than 1 tube, feel free to arrange a split purchase with other members
Update 1:

Regular Coins
$42.63 + $0.20 (weight surcharge) + $0.25 (shipping allocation) + $0.22 (wire)... = $43.30 (In excel I got total: $43.2543 per oz)
As mentioned yesterday, on this I really would like to keep a $0.50 "net" in case the extras I ordered aren't picked up, but that may be too much for some, so I decided to lower it to $0.25.
So Final per oz would be $43.50 per oz.
I wasn't sure yesterday whether to send them a draft in the mail or bank wire but it came to about $11.30 + tax for shipping a cheque via express post, as opposed to $30 for a bank wire, and it was simply a lot easier and quicker to take the wire approach.
GEMS
$44.62 + $0.35 per oz (weight surcharge) + $0.25 (shipping allocation) + 0.22 (wire) = $45.44 + net ~ $45.75
These I have more extras of, so adding a $0.30 net here and it makes the number more round.
*NOTE: ALL CALCULATIONS ARE IN CAD

would you consider getting this? it's about a dollar or so more, comes with case for protection and it's graded.

Look at the 1998 Titanic Privy Coin...that year has nothing special about it related to the Titanic, but still doing for $90 on apmex...
2012 is the 100th anniversary...definitely a special coin in that sense and has lower mintage than the 1998!
As for the SP-Gem coins, I'd prefer not to, unless someone can convince me to do so by telling me whats so special about them, but if thats what everyone else wants, I'm for it.

When do you expect you will be buying by? We are going for tubes or for the graded but not top graded ones?

If my calculations are right, it's just under $43/oz? If so, I'm in for a tube (25oz.)
Let me know when to send the deposit via EMT.
And yes, thank god you're not doing a GB on the SGP thing.. not worth the premium.
I can see these fetching a premium when they sell out..... mintage of only 25,000. F15 privy maples for 2012 had a 10,000 mintage and were $63. So these aren't bad. Also as stated, this is the 100th anniversary.

the one I posted is only about 1-2 dollars more... so what do you say? I have a feeling it will fetch a bigger premium in the future.
I am in for 10 for the one I posted.
let me try this convincing:
For 1.5 dollars you get
1.... it cost you 50 cents or more to get air-tites anyway
2.... graded, much better change for profit, because it's more rare
3... did I mention again it's only 1.5 dollars more?
4... and you don't have to get a certain amount

$42.22 vs $44.72. ($2.50)
If you can explain the difference to me other than it being in a case, I'll jump. Or if everyone else would prefer those ones I'd change the group buy from regular to Gem one.

Yep you're about right. I mentioned $44 due to fluctuations in Spot...

see above.
As far as I know, it cost a few dollars more to have a coin graded.
hey, if nobody sees eye to eye with me, Can you put 10 for me and I will share the shipping cost?

Yeah (I believe they will be allocated a higher shipping cost due the case etc., so what I'll do is put in an order to see how much just the weight surcharge is, and then allocate the cost of the standard $35 or $36 shipping)

If you get 200oz interest tonight I hope you can wait till tomorrow to place the order. I want in but I can't get access to the money to send an EMT tonight while I'm at work.

I'd prefer the ones in the capsules for a buck or two more - especially if I can get like 10 instead of 25.

Do it! I didn't realize the price difference was so minimal.

+1. Ideally I would rather do 10oz of the ones KOW wants instead of 25oz of the ones that aren't graded.
So I'd want the same thing KOW wants, if you are willing to switch.
Website states: "Orders in multiples of 20 graded coins come in a free PCGS box." I want the box though lol.
