anyone been 2 the swiss chalet at yonge and 16th in richmond hill? well i was there this wknd and noticed that all of the fella asians r all seated in the back, i mean wats the deals with this? wat do they have against us?? its not like we dunno how 2 use a fork and knife, cmon wats with the discrimination? anyways we were served by an afro american waitress, she was rude and did not do a good job, i ordered a double leg din and asked 4 the spicy glaze, din came nvr got it, didnt bother complaining,

i was vry hungry, dont go 2 this location it sucks! never goin back, i recomend the one in scarbz, brimley and sheppard, u will not be dissapointed.

That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard! I've been to that Swiss Chalet, I am of Asian background, and they sit me wherever there is room. I don't really care, since I'm happy I'm no longer waiting. If they sit me by Asians or Caucasians or Black folks or Indians or whoever else - do I really care? I am there to eat, not play the cuisine demographics game. I think nothing of it.

Richmond Hill has a large Asian population, so could it have been a larger party eating together? Or a big family or a church youth group? Do you think any franchised establishment would distinctly discriminate against anyone? Most Swiss Chalets I've been to in the Toronto area have many visible minority folks as staff. It is more than likely just a coincidence.

I am so sick of people crying foul and playing the race card at every opportunity. You are only perpetuating exclusivist and segregationalist perceptions, and I, for one, as a proud Canadian, will not stand for it. You're reading too much into something to try to perpetuate your own stereotypes.

First do you know for a fact they were seated there by force.It is very possible there was no room or even they asked to be seated back there.BEfore calling it discrimnation do some research.What would you say if at a asian resturant they placed 6 white people at the back.

never happened to me. Everytime I go there I get decent service and decent food. When I ask for extra chalet sauce I always get it. People need to stop being so paranoid.
